Company Overview

Kinetic Edge Physical Therapy is a therapist-owned outpatient physical therapy practice that was founded (as Work Systems) in 1998. With origins as a work injury management and prevention company, over the years the company evolved to include a larger variety of therapy-related services. Thus, in 2014 the business changed its name to Kinetic Edge to better reflect it's mission, vision, and values.

Kinetic Edge exists to restore health, happiness, and hope. We transform lives and restore hope through movement. We understand that when people move better, they also feel better and function better. We consistently focus on being the best movement scientists to help our clients live out their personal missions.

Kinetic Edge continues to provide unique and effective work injury management and prevention services, but we also work in the fields of physical therapy, occupational therapy, athletic training, and exercise science. We currently have 5 outpatient clinic locations (Pella, Des Moines, Oskaloosa, Newton, and Ames), and we consult with industries throughout the state, the country, and beyond.

While we are dedicated to exceptional business practices to stay solvent and thrive, we have made a conscious decision that purpose is as important as profit.
